A directory that only does one thing

You saw a cloud kitchen or a small shop on Instagram, and two days later you can't remember the name. LocalHub exists so you can find it again and get straight back to their profile.

Every listing is a name, a handle, and a category for businesses in Malé, Hulhumalé Phase 1, Hulhumalé Phase 2 and Villimalé. That's it. No reviews, no ratings, no ads.

How Listings Work

Anyone can suggest a business without an account. A person reads every submission before it goes live, and business owners can claim their page through a link we send by Instagram DM.

Privacy

Public listings store a business name, Instagram handle, category, area, and the optional note a submitter adds. We count page views and Instagram clicks per listing as daily totals. No cookies, tracking pixels, or personal data are involved in that count.

Owner accounts store a name, email address, and a hashed password so owners can sign in. Submissions are rate limited by IP address for an hour and the address is not kept after that.
